Dr. Kevin D. Ward
A native of Northeast Indianapolis, Dr. Kevin D. Ward graduated from Lawrence Central High School. He completed his undergraduate studies at Indiana University in 1982 and graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1986.
Dr. Ward served as a Dental Officer in the United States Navy, where he gained further clinical proficiency through several specialty rotations. Dr Ward returned home to Indiana in 1990 and founded his dental practice, Fishers Dental Care in 1994. He is a faculty member at Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he continues to teach since 1990 and has been honored as its "Best Clinical Instructor”.

Dr. Ward maintains active membership in the American Dental the Indiana Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, the Indianapolis District Dental Society, the Academy of Operative Dentistry, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Ward is also a Fellow of The American College of Dentists and member of The International College of Dentists. He serves as Chairman of Indianapolis District Dental Society’s Peer Review Committee and is a past member of the Indiana Dental Association’s Executive Peer Review State Committee. Dr. Ward also serves as a Dental Board Examiner for the American Board of Dental Examiners.
Dr. Ward currently serves as a Board member of the Indianapolis District Dental Society Foundation and has the distinct privilege of serving as a Delegate for the Indiana Dental Association and is a past member of the Indianapolis District Dental Society Board of Directors. Dr. Ward also served as the Team Dentist for the Indiana/Indianapolis Ice Minor League Hockey team for 13 years.
Dr Ward views continuing education as vitally important, as he and his team continue to deliver the highest quality dental treatment for their patients. He maintains active membership in The Spear Study Club and past affiliation with The Seattle Study Club and The INDENT Study Club.
Dr. Ward maintains active community involvement with Fishers Rotary Club, Fishers Chamber of Commerce, and Knights of Columbus. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and traveling.
Dr. Ward and his wife, Susan, have three children and have lived in Hamilton County since 1992.
Dr. Molly E. Dwenger
Born and raised in the Indianapolis and Fishers area of Indiana, Dr. Dwenger is excited to be living and practicing in her hometown. After graduating from Cathedral High School in 2012, she studied at the University of Indianapolis where she represented and competed for the Women’s Golf Team, earning a National Championship in 2015, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2016. She then continued her education, receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2020.
Prior to working in private practice, Dr. Dwenger wanted to further her knowledge and expertise by completing a General Practice Residency at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital located in Pontiac, Michigan-- learning skills from different specialties and special needs care.
During her time in undergraduate and graduate education, Dr. Dwenger acted as the Volunteer Coordinator, providing opportunities for herself and her colleagues to give back to the Indianapolis and Fishers communities through Riley Children’s Hospital, The Ronald McDonald House, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Community Outreach holds a special place in Dr. Dwenger’s heart and career, and she continues this practice by beginning an annual Canned Food Drive at Fishers Dental Care, volunteers at the Heart and Soul Free Dental Clinic, and is an active member of the Fisher’s Rotary Club.
Dr. Dwenger is also a member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, and Indianapolis District Dental Society – holding a leadership role as the Membership Committee Co-Chair. Dr. Dwenger is a Fellow of The American College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. To ensure being ahead of the evolving profession of dentistry and providing the best care for her patients, Dr. Dwenger continues her practice of dentistry and education through various Study Clubs including Spear Education and the American Academy of Clear Aligners.
In her free time, Dr. Dwenger enjoys golfing, traveling, and watching movies. Dr. Dwenger and her husband, Zack, have a son and dog. They currently reside in the Fishers area. Dr. Dwenger is excited to work alongside her father, Dr. Kevin Ward, and is looking forward to seeing you soon.

Dr. Samantha M. Shuttleworth
We are excited to welcome Dr. Shuttleworth to our practice. Dr. Shuttleworth is a former student of Dr. Ward and a former classmate of Dr. Dwenger at Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Shuttleworth remains actively involved in dental education and currently teaches Fixed Prosthodontics at the Indiana University School of Dentistry.
She is passionate about mentoring future dentists and contributing to the advancement of clinical excellence in the profession. Dr. Shuttleworth is also a member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, and the Indianapolis District Dental Society.
Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Shuttleworth has completed the Essentials Series at the Pankey Institute and continues to pursue advanced training to better serve her patients. She is both Invisalign and Botox certified, with special clinical interests in TMD treatment and clear aligner therapy. She enjoys helping patients find relief from discomfort while also improving function and confidence in their smiles.
Dr. Shuttleworth believes in providing comprehensive, relationship-based care with a strong focus on precision, comfort, and long-term oral health.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Shuttleworth enjoys trying new recipes and fishing on the White River. She recently welcomed her son, Rhys, with her husband Thomas. Dr. Shuttleworth looks forward to working with Dr. Ward and Dr. Dwenger in continuing to provide high quality dental care for our patients. Dr. Shuttleworth believes in providing comprehensive, relationship-based care with a strong focus on precision, comfort, and long-term oral health.
